Dungeon Deck

Dungeon Deck is a currently ongoing project in the works with Potch over at TwentyMinuteMile!

When we began, we decided that the card suit icons and card back illustration should be designed first to establish a solid look. After that, the illustrations, card layouts and peripheral elements fell into place.

Working on this project has been so fulfilling for a number of reasons; working with a great friend and getting to see so many things in print are prominent but it's the style of the project that reigns number one for me. While I do have a dominant illustration style featured throughout my portfolio, I’ve worked hard to adapt to the needs of my clients in effort to truly bring their visions to life. The punchy, line-heavy style I developed for Dungeon Deck, with its bold colors that stray so far from my usual nightmare-ish works in black was a challenge at first. Though, as I familiarized myself with the identity I was creating, the vibe became second nature.

This is a project I’m immensely proud of and I can't wait until you folks can own your very own copy!
